Plume Labs Unveil ‘Flow’ at CES 2017
Plume Labs, a graduated company with the ODINE project, have recently released their personal air quality tracker called ‘Flow’. The app was released during CES2017 and went on to win two of the ‘Oscars of Tech’ awards available at the event. These were the ‘CES Innovation Award’ and the ‘Engadget’s Best of CES’. As well as Plume Lab’s success, CES2017 saw a plethora of new awe-inspiring gadgets and technologies. The likes of Samsung, Sony, LG and HTC unveiled new developments with electricals and accessories that may change the course of virtual reality. Smart tattooes, smartwatches, drones, and self-driving cars were all also present, using technologies in ways previously unavailable. You can read a full summary of the event here.
Connected Smart Cities Conference 2017
The Connected Smart Cities Conference (CoR) took place recently in Brussels, Belgium. The event is run by The Open and Agile Smart Cities initiative (OASC) who are collaboration of smart cities around the world. With nearly 400 attendees, the event featured keynote speakers and eight parallel sessions which discussed the developments of smart cities and connectivity. In particular, the domain-specific panel produced interesting developments with the use of open data in the field of digital water management, and in assisted living technologies.
